We don't collect your data. ResumeBuilder runs entirely in your browser. Your resume content is stored in your browser's localStorage and never transmitted to any server.

Data Storage

All resume data is stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage. This means:

  • Your data stays on your device
  • We cannot access, read, or recover your data
  • Clearing your browser data will delete your saved resumes
  • Use the Export JSON feature to back up your data

No User Accounts

We do not have user accounts, login systems, or email collection. You don't need to provide any personal information to use the service.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics (such as Plausible or Simple Analytics) to understand aggregate traffic patterns. These services:

  • Do not use cookies
  • Do not track individual users
  • Do not collect personal information
  • Are GDPR, CCPA, and PECR compliant by design

Third-Party Services

The application loads fonts from Google Fonts and jsDelivr CDN. These services may log standard web server information (IP address, browser type). We do not control these third-party services.

PDF Generation

PDF generation happens entirely in your browser using an embedded PDF engine. Your resume content is never sent to any server for PDF creation.
